BOONE, N.C.—Appalachian State University’s annual Fall Open House activities for prospective students and their families will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16. The event will be held in the George M. Holmes Convocation Center beginning with a Family Assembly at 9 a.m., followed by an Information Fair from 9:30 a.m. until noon. The day will conclude around 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Office of Admissions.

Open House activities give prospective students and their families an opportunity to speak with representatives from admissions, financial aid, academic areas, campus support areas and student clubs and organizations. Student Ambassadors will offer tours of the campus, and residence halls will be open for guided tours. Numerous academic departments will also offer departmental open houses.
