App State Examines and Celebrates the United States Constitution

Plemmons Student Unionmap

Appalachian & the Community Together (ACT) will host a contact table with essential voting information, such as:

  • Registering to vote for the first time
  • Updating your registration
  • How, when and where you can vote
  • How to find out what’s on the ballot
  • How to research candidates

Using largely displayed QR codes that send you to the voter registration portal associated with your state of residence, as well as a handout packet, ACT will give you within 10 seconds all of the information you need to successfully vote this season.

Information also will be shared about completing the 2020 U.S. Census, which counts every person living in the United States and five U.S. territories. The Census is due Sept. 30. For students who were displaced in March due to COVID-19 and aren’t certain whether their household last spring completed the Census, watch this video. It shares what to do and how to complete the Census.
