BOONE, N.C.—Have you considered earning an doctor of education degree, or Ed.D.? Appalachian State University’s Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership will host an open house for prospective students Thursday, March 2, from 4 – 6 p.m.

The event will be held in Room 414 College of Education Building on the Appalachian campus. Light refreshments will be served.

Housed in the Reich College of Education, Appalachian’s Ed.D. program is rigorous and relevant. It is the university’s only doctoral program and is designed for educational leaders in public schools, community colleges, universities and community settings. It meets the needs of a diverse community through concentrations in educational administration, general studies, higher education, expressive arts inquiry and leadership, reading and exceptionalities, and instructional technology leadership. Students are prepared for advanced leadership roles in the community and elsewhere.
