Former App State quarterback Armanti Edwards ’09 was announced as a member of the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024. Edwards guided the App State football team to two national championships in 2006 and 2007, as well as the Mountaineers' famous upset victory over Michigan in 2007.

The official induction ceremony will be held Dec. 10 during the 66th National Football Foundation Annual Awards Dinner.

In what she describes as a “full-circle” moment, Allred graduated from Guilford County Schools as a child. In this feature, Allred talks about her excitement of defying construction stereotypes as a woman in the field, and explains what she hopes to accomplish with this project and future projects.
