BOONE—The Mariam Cannon Hayes Graduate String Quartet will perform Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Recital Hall on the Appalachian State University campus.
The quartet is coached by Eric Koontz and Nancy Bargerstock and features Kelsey Philbrick and Benjamin Dawson on violin, Jenna Meeks Ames on viola and Nicholas Paolino on violoncello.
The quartet will perform “String Quartet No. 9 in C Major, Op. 59, No. 3” by Beethoven, “String Quartet in F Major, M. 35” by Maurice Ravel and “Skylife” by David Balakrishnan.
