BOONE, N.C.—Appalachian State University’s annual Spring Open House activities for prospective students and their families will be held on Saturday, April 22. The event will be conducted in the George M. Holmes Convocation Center and will begin with a Family Assembly at 9 a.m., followed by an Information Fair from 9:30 a.m. until noon. The day will conclude around 1 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Office of Admissions.
Open House activities give prospective students and their families an opportunity to speak with representatives from admissions, financial aid, academic areas, campus support areas and student clubs and organizations. Student Ambassadors will offer tours of the campus, and residence halls will be open with guided tours. Numerous academic departments will also offer departmental open houses from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
