Until the New Year

Time now for rest, renewal and reflection

Posted Dec. 21, 2017 at 9 a.m.

Appalachian loves a snow day! The campus was blanketed with a beautiful snow recently, and while it complicated exams, we weren’t deterred for long, as witnessed in this winter photo album.

Our campus will quieten soon for the winter break. We welcome the time for rest, renewal and reflection. I hope each of you will find time to recharge as well.

I look forward to 2018 and the wide-open energy generated by the return in January of our faculty, staff and students. Until then, my best wishes for a safe and peaceful holiday.

Sheri Everts

Should you have a moment of down time, we’ve edited some lively footage of campus life in a video for you. You’ll hear from a variety of Mountaineers about the Appalachian Experience, the opportunities it affords and living like you mean it!
