The Appalachian State University and Boone communities are invited to a live streaming of a panel discussion on advancing civil rights for the LGBT community.

The series includes “Fed Up,” “Thin Ice,” “Surviving Progress” and “Mission Blue.” The films were selected to help viewers better understand the challenges facing humankind and the planet and to broaden observations regarding environmental and economic sustainability and social justice.
